反戦 一直都是搖滾樂裡
相當重要的精神所在
也許是透過搖滾樂裡的自由意識
對於政府 與戰爭做最直接的抗議與抨擊

第一次接觸到Dire Straits的音樂是
在那MV正開始興盛的年代
那首Money for Nothing，
經常的在禮拜六余光的節目上經常播放著
只是剛好自己並不喜歡那首歌的MV
對於Dire Straits這樂團就沒有太過注意，
直到自己開始彈電吉他後
才慢慢體會到Mark Knopfler的吉他魅力

在舞台上 Mark是主唱也是主吉他手
低沉的嗓音，伴隨著與一般吉他手不同的手指彈奏方式
把歌聲與吉他伴奏巧妙的合而為一
建立了Mark與眾不同的音樂風格

可以很清楚的聽到Dire Straits的音樂風貌
